Finally, I decided to use NextGEN as photo manager.

But… Why this and not any other?

Well, I have tested Gallery2 with it’s plug-ins WPG2+widget, it seemed to be a good option but I couldn’t make it work fine under my theme… I did fix it but… I didn’t like it at all.

Afterwards, I tried Simpleviewer, made in flash and very nice looking, but it didn’t fit in my blog neither…

That’s why I took NextGEN at the end.

About the videos, I’m still on doubt… QT or FLV… By now, I’m using QT coz it gives me a good quality, but, it’s negative point is that, the videos are too heavy. To manage them, I’m using a really cool plug-in, quicktime embed, that allows me to show the videos, normal way (it’s the most common), with poster (puts a static pic till you click play) and with poster and ipod video link.

Well, this is my first post in english and spanish using “polyglot” (a plug in for wordpress), I still have to fix a couple of “bugs” that I already found. If this works, I’ll add “afrikaans” to the languages list (ye, I’m not crazy nuts, Erica will take care of that :p).

Bueno, he añadido unos cuantos plug-ins (Ultimate Category Cloud, NextGEN gallery y Picasa photos por ahora) y he modificado un poco el .css para añadir los estilos especiales que podeis ver en el post anterior

Tambien he añadido unas pocas fotos a mis galerias, solo son una prueba, espero subir todas las que tengo (300Gb de espacio web creo que me da para eso y mucho mas, no? jejeje)

Mi siguiente paso es modificar un poco el tema para hacerlo personal, añadir algun plug-in interesante mas, aumentar mi galeria y continuar poniendolo al dia. Pero no os preocupeis, continuaré escribiendo.

Oh, se me olvidaba, voy a intentar poner una versión en ingles
